The #CRAFTISCOOL collaboration among designers and the native karighars liquified the runway with their expressions of ethical fashion at the fashion week. To see the karighars contain the skill set rendered upon them by their ancestors and have a platform to showcase the same was a reminder of the interesting journey.
The viewers entered the arena only to be amused by the block printing counters setting the mood. With a soulful live singing performance, the earthy designs began to walk in. The drapes and falls chosen added to their adaption to fusion silhouettes. Delicately painted flowers on their faces, precisely knotted ankle straps and the overall natural portrayal completed the communication of aesthetics and skills.
