Details:
- Double Weave: Double cloth or double weave (also doublecloth, double-cloth, doubleweave) is a kind of woven textile in which two or more sets of warps and one or more sets of weft or filling yarns are interconnected to form a two-layered cloth. The movement of threads between the layers allows complex patterns and surface textures to be created. Modern applications of double cloth include haute couture coats, blankets, furnishing fabrics, and some brocades.
- Pile Weave: Pile weave is part of a family of woven fabrics created to produce pronounced or obvious protrusions of the constituent warp yarns within one set of the warp while a base structure of warp yarns maintains the tensile and structural integrity of the fabric in the machine delivery direction. The family of pile weaves includes terry cloth, velveteen, plush, and similar weaves in which a portion of the warp is extended to form an elongated, extended path from the flat plane of the fabric.
- Dobby Weave: Dobby Weave is a textured fabric with geometric patterns. The patterns are small such as birds eye. The construction is complex, it is made by twisting adjacent warp yarns around each other and then the filling yarn is passed through. This method is used for mosquito nets. Satin threads are effective in this particular weave as it’s texture would highlight the pattern. This method is used for mosquito nets and more.
