After Why

The word ‘Garment’ has been defined as an item of clothing or a windproof outer fabric used to cover a body. It may have its own list of uses but going back to the original basic purpose, we have chosen to look at its purpose to ‘Cover a Body’. As we were newly introduced to the process of deconstructing a garment as fashion communicators, it was difficult for us to uproot the question of ‘who will wear this’ and appreciate them as art. We arrived at a conclusion where the possibility of our point of appreciation was narrowed down to the covering aspect of the garment. Taking that into consideration for the editorial, we are willing to work with basic drapes to complex elements of the garment.
